Using the Cursor Extension

The Cursor IDE is based on VS Code, and as such, the VS Code plugin works effectively in Cursor. The tools included in the extension work seamlessly in Cursor, and the usage and results of the extension are nearly identical to VS Code.

Notice

Although there is no dedicated Checkmarx One plugin for Cursor, the plugin for VS Code has been tested and found to be effective for use in Cursor.

The following articles that describe the usage of the VS Code extension are generally applicable also for Cursor:
