Managing Your Teams
You and your managers can view, manage and edit your teams' progress in the Codebashing courses. Manager access to teams is limited to the teams they manage. To learn more about Codebashing roles for each user in your team, refer to Managing Codebashing User Roles.
Managers can change the names of their teams, add or change their descriptions, remove users from a team, and change their primary course.
Note
Admin users cannot be part of a team.
Working with the Team List
The Teams Dashboard lists general information on your teams and allows you to view the status of your teams and edit them.
From the menu, select
Teams. The Teams Dashboard appears listing the teams assigned to you as manager. The Teams Dashboard and its elements are identical to the Teams Dashboard seen by administrators.
Note
Teams are assigned to Managers by an Administrator. Managers can edit their teams, but not delete them.
In the Teams Dashboard, select your team in the table and click <Edit>. The screen image and the table below illustrate and list the parameters that can be edited.
Note
Managers can only add users to a team not new team members to a team. Managing Users.
Parameter for Editing
Instructions
Team Name
Overwrite the current team name displayed in this field.
Description
Enter a new description or edit an existing one in this field.
Include Managers in the Team’s Progress Indicator
Check to include the team managers in the team progress reports.
Primary Course
Click and select the desired course from the list as the new primary course for a specific user.
To select a primary course for multiple users, select
the desired users and click Change Primary Course to select the new primary course from the list.
Removing team members
Select
the desired users and then click <Remove>. <Remove> only shows, if at least one user is selected.

Click to save your changes.
