Assigning Lessons
This section provides an overview of lessons assigned to users and allows assigning additional lessons to users. You may assign entire courses or specific lessons of a course to these users.
The Dashboard
The Dashboard provides an overview on what courses users have accomplished and when. A quick summary provides information on how many lessons were assigned to how many users and how many lessons have been completed (in %).
From the menu, under RESOURCES, select Assigned Lessons. The Assigned Lessons Dashboard appears with a list of users and lessons assigned to these users.
To hide entries of completed lessons, check Hide Completed.

The email of users assigned to take at least one course. Each lesson is represented by a separate line, therefore, users who are assigned to multiple lessons appear multiple times. | |
Lesson | The lesson to which a user is assigned to. |
Course | The course to which a user is assigned. |
Completion Status | Not completed, completed |
Elapsed Days | The time that has elapsed since the user has been assigned to the relevant lesson. |
On the Assigned Lessons Dashboard, click <+ Assigned New Lessons>. You are asked to assign courses to users.
Note
As illustrated below, you can assign entire courses, for example Java or just specific lessons, for example SQL Injection and XXE Processing that belong to the .NET course.
Click <Continue> to assign specific users or entire teams to the course portfolio you selected.
Note
Each user is listed with his role and the team to which he belongs. Users who don’t belong to any team are labeled as No Team.
To view users of a specific role or a list of teams, click the option at the top to filter your view.
Select the relevant users or teams. email addresses appear at the top. In case of teams, the team’s email list appears.
Click <Continue>. A summary appears and you are asked to schedule your courses.
Note
The summary lists the courses that users are assigned to, even if only specific lessons have been selected for a course.
In addition, it contains the emails of all users that belong to a team, if you assigned entire teams and not single users.
If you select Send at a Designated Time, you are asked to add the desired date and time.
Add a personal message (optional) and click <Send> to distribute the assignment.
