Installing the IAST Management Server

The IAST Installation file must be downloaded and installed on the host specified as the IAST Management Server. A link to the download location of the installation file is provided with the welcome email you received.

Warning

If upgrading from IAST version 3.3.2 or below, refer to Upgrading the IAST Management Server for additional information before you start upgrading.

Pre-Requisites

  • MSSQL

  • .NET SDK 2.1.511 or higher, but below 2.2.x.

  • .NET Core 2.1.15 or 2.1.16 and up, but below 2.2.x (Windows / Linux)

  • The Java installation folder, for example C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_144, must be defined as environment variable JAVA_HOME.

Warning

  • For IAST versions older than 3.7, all previous versions of .NET Core must be uninstalled.

  • It is recommended to restart your host after installing the required pre-requisites before you install IAST.

  • The IAST setup CxIAST.exe must be run as Administrator.
