Logging on to the IAST Web Application Using Access Control
Checkmarx Access Control Management is a user management solution for user administration managers. Using Access Control, administration managers are provided with a universal view of user access rights and a centralized management console to define unified access control management for all IAST users.

Warning
Make sure that organizational routing and firewall configurations allow the IAST Client to access the IAST Management Server.
Enter the URL of the IAST Management Server from any PC. The URL is http://<server>:8380 where <server> stands for the IP address or the resolvable hostname of the IAST Management Serverfor example http://localhost:8380. You are asked to create your administrator account.
Enter the required administrator user account information:

Description
First & Last Name
Full name for the administrator user
User Name
User name for the administrator user as defined for login
Email
Email address for the administrator user
Password
Unique password as defined for the administrator user login. The password must be retyped to confirm.
Click <Register>. The Login window appears.
Enter the URL of the IAST Management Server. The login window appears.
Enter the administrator user login credentials and click <Login>. The application opens.
Notice
The IAST Management Server and the IAST Client must have the same Time Zone and Daylight Saving definition. If they are different, the login may fail.
If you forgot your password, click Forgot password? to receive a temporary password from Access Control.
The Forgot Password option is only relevant if the SMTP server has been defined in the system.

On the IAST interface, click the Lock icon and select Profile. An additional tab opens displaying general profile settings.
Click Password to access the Change Password interface.
Enter the current password and the new password in the respective fields and make sure to meet all the password requirements.
Click <Update Password>. The password is updated.
On the IAST interface, click the Lock icon and select Logout. The login prompt appears.
Some operations require special permissions. A user can view projects only when the project is in a monitored state, if the user has administrative privileges or if the user’s team is attached (assigned) to those projects.
